Clrnc 42 - Since Unai Emery’s first Premier League game in charge of Aston Villa (6th November), no side has won more games in the competition than them (13 – level with Arsenal), while only the Gunners (44) have picked up more points than Villa (42) during this period. Impressive.
Is that because we've played more games than City therefore picked up more points? Although I still would have thought City made the same number of points as we have since then as we went into the WC 5 points ahead and are currently still 5 points ahead but having played 2 more games.

There's your answer. City lost a game between Nov 6th and the WC.

Ah ok, so there were games between Nov 5th and when the league took a break for the WC. Makes sense then. Just thought with the WC starting on the 19th or so of November that we'd have taken a break a couple weeks before that meaning there wasn't much room for games between those dates.
Clrnc Glad to see him doing well. Always seemed a decent chap.
No sign of Chambers though in Emery's Villa side (or the previous really). Think he'd suit their game well and could be Emery's English version of Pau Torres.
KingslandBarge Konsa and Mings is in unbelievable form. Can't drop them.
Probably most surprising change Emery made was to ditch Digne who was one of their more impressive player, bought Moreno to replace him and chose Young to replace Cash
Guess Emery wanted no part in such a suggestion: KingslandBarge
Clrnc Has Mings really turned it around though? first half the season looked really bad and along with his whole defense, looking poor today
Cannon Villa's attack has definitely had some chances
Clrnc Mings confidence is unbelievable. I don't know much about his ability but anytime i have seen him he has looked 'all action' to me. Surging ahead/passing/tackling.
I just realized Frank Lampard and Chelsea lost again. At home that too.
Lavia again very impressive. Superb in turns and ball carries. Reminds me of Camavinga actually.
Must buy
Newcastle and Man Utd winning. Both teams playing with little pressure as top 4 secured.
Willock having a great time, stepped up massively recently.
3-0 for newcastle now..
It’s embarrassing we lost to this Everton side away. How does it happen season in season out? If they get relegated might be a good thing for us
Sicario2 - Tier 1 one of those physical teams that we can’t cope with

Just pray he doesn't get sacked again before this weekend, because two post-Frank bounces in a season would be brutally unjust.

Assist of the season from Isak?
QuincyAbeyie
He didn’t get the assist in the end but great play
Southampton lose at home to Bournemouth. They are down but yet still scored 3 v us. Do I laugh or cry ffs
QuincyAbeyie great play but Keane is an embarrassment.
Howe has them on PEDs. There’s no other logical explanation.
QuincyAbeyie prefers Willock assist. The technique and pace of the ball was unreal.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Unbelievable we dropped points to this team. They only won against us and fecking Leeds.
When you concede 3 at home to rock bottom hopeless team you can't win the title. Similar to another one of our biggest bottle job in 02/03 we lost against Relegated Leeds 3-2 or something at home. Was the final nail in the coffin
goon yeah, but you can say similar stuff about any dribbling raid to be fair - they simply can't happen if the defenders do their job. It's not like Henry should've gotten through at the Bernabeu either.
Just seen that Lampard has only won 1 of his last 19 games as manager. He plays us next. Think we've all seen this film before haven't we?
