I am Arsenal Till I Die So are Man City. As long as it's not Zidane I won't really care. Only because Zizou was a childhood idol.

Chelsea fans believe in their current CL campaign so it may be just as much about bringing someone in beforehand as it could be about beating Spurs to the punch.

goon See the logic, but I expect Potter will be on sabbatical for a while. The guy seems to have been shredded psychologically, and he has spoken quite a lot, publicly about the impact on him and his family. Icarus moment for him. He also looks more average in retrospect with De Zerbi doing so well.

Maybe, though I think if Spurs come in for him he’d be mad not to take it because there’s no saying if he’ll have a chance to take on a big job again. Otherwise it’ll be a West Ham, Leicester or Everton gig he’ll be taking.

In fairness I think De Zebri is benefitting a lot from the foundations laid by Potter even if he has taken the football on a little further.
