He's still bitter about the way it ended there for him and I get the feeling he resents Neville for not taking his side. Plus I'd imagine Gary Neville is really annoying anyway.

Claudius The fixture being 5 weeks away is not good for us. By then you’d think Liverpool would have a lot of their players back and probably get their act together. It is a very right top 4 fight so they’ll be well up for it.

If we show up and have most of our squad together I think we will defo put up a fight. As Real Madrid showed, this team gives away chances and you need to be clinical.

Like most of the defenders we go for, too. We prefer that versatility. He was absolutely a good target, didn't get him but it's no surprise he's working out fairly well, today's humiliations aside, given we chased him.

Qwiss Can't say I was worried but I'm reassured here that Ten Hag may start to stink like a rotten corpse at some stage, like every other post-Fergie manager they've had. A managerial job can only handle a couple of results this bad at most.

Claudius Fully agreed. Based on everything I've seen they won't do better. Still great to see the Ten Hag regime so humiliated, it is hard for the fans and squad to get past that sort of experience. Those are the contradictions we love to see United living with.
