Surprising twist in the Mason Greenwood case with charges being dropped. So technically he remains innocent in the eyes of the law, however I think it’s clear to all he’s guilty as hell. The recordings and photos speak for themselves but there appears to have been hesitancy from witnesses which would have cast enough doubt to jeopardise a successful case.

I wonder if he’ll be welcomed back into the United fold or moved on.

Rumour is he's back with the girl who accused him. That seems to be backed up by reports that police are in trouble for allowing him to see her and break his parole conditions.

It's a bit of a nightmare scenario for them, they can't play him without a huge backlash and they can't sack him. Most likely they sell him abroad or something.

I guess the meaning of the law is that we can do what we want subject to its judgements. But anyone who treats legal outcomes as their basis for judgement about who they want to work with, who they want to be mates with … is a mug.

I am, sadly, not surprised at all. Acting in accordance with consistent and appropriate ethics cannot be tied to the results of legal proceedings in contemporary justice systems.

that was going to be the obvious outcome after her own father was making excuses for him when the video/audio became public. i knew what what time that family was on ever since. he's a winning lotto ticket and going after him meant ruining his career and thus any possibility of living the wag life.

Considering this was due to go to trial this year it can only mean the girl has backed down and they don't have a strong enough case without her.
