Most fans would have said you needed someone to rotate with Partey, and we still have neglected that position, we watched Bissouma go to Spurs of all clubs, and now it looks like we will not have Partey.

We need at least one DM if not two, plus a CM but there is little chance of that.

True, but obviously Spurs did the background work, because he was officially cleared a few days ago.

No one could have foreseen this, but in terms of making out squad robust, we have always been very poor.

Now in our weakest position this happens.

He converted for his marriage, even joked the other day that he never actually changed his name to Yakubu. Doubt this has anything to do with that, although the timing, the alleged place and all seem to be linked to somehow linked to his wife and/or ex

have any of the outlets reporting this specified that the incident happened in mirabella/Mediterranean? I've only seen people online saying the location was known, but haven't seen it mentioned on bbc/telegraph

Not out of the question it was his wife herself.

From the sounds of it he loved partying, kept making jokes about his sidechicks in the past etc but then got settled with his Moroccan wife - very odd that the reported incidents would be in summer 21 and June 22, just before and after his marriage. He's been released on bail last night either way

Frankly if the club believe there's even a possibility of him being guilty they have to suspend him if the nature of the accusation is as it seems.

Technically he's a free to do whatever until he's charged - which can take a long time. Bissouma's case took a year before he was cleared, Greenwood still hasn't been charged I don't believe. Mendy took a while too.

Bissouma was never accused of rape though and from the small details that we heard it never sounded quite as serious hence why he/Brighton were not villainised. Mendy/City managed to keep it hidden for a long time before it become public knowledge too.
