Liverpool have looked ordinary but they're missing Jota, Nunez, Thiago and Fabinho. That'd make a huge difference to any side

Dare I say it, but after watching the way we use White and Zinchenko, and the really impressive rotation between all the forwards, Liverpool's system of wide fullbacks and a static front 3 is looking a little dated and basic. 8)

That's true, Henderson and Milner will not be on the pitch together very often that's for sure.

They're praising Martinez in commentary, but both he and Malacia look very much like they have come from the Eredivise to me. Not impressed on this viewing at least.

They have one of oldest squads in the league and have a lot of players who've played a shit ton of football who are starting to pick up injuries. I think a big drop like we saw a couple of years ago wouldn't be all that surprising.

Mane and Salah were incredible over the last few years, one has left and the other is definitely past his best. Good as Diaz is that's massive shoes to fill.

Martinez is good on the ball, you can see it. Defensively he's not been tested at all, certainly not in a way that would test his small stature.
