Ten Haag doesn't know what he's got himself into with the Premier League right now. He's got a long, long process ahead of him if he's to turn United into a good team. I doubt he has it in him regardless, such is the size of the job or that'll he'll get time, given the lack of good people at the club to provide support and the how pathetic those running them will no doubt be in the face of the fans' fury. It's all very similar to us a couple years back - all the wrong players, recruited with no strategy or clear vision, on too much money with bad attitudes, and a general lack of professionalism and winning culture at the club overall.

Their money will help because they can pay £100m for a player and pay him £500k/week if they want, but it'll only go so far because no serious player is going there any time soon.

De gea is on 350k a week at goal.
They just signed a left-back.

Midfield they signed eriksen and will sign rabiot alongside fred, bruno, mctominay etc.

They have rashford, martial, ronaldo, sancho upfront.

They've resisted selling ronaldo and rashford. Rashford one is perplexing. Guy's going downhill.
