For what it’s worth, Conte’s record v Arsenal is poor, one win in 9. Appreciate he managed against us in a different time but hopefully still bodes well for us.

Conte got the double over Arsenal in 2017 did he not. The 3-0 loss against Chelsea where Cech passed it straight to Cesc for the lob, and the other at the Emirates where Cesc played cynically, breezed an assist and goal. All repulsive and discomforting events but that were a good deal vanquished by Ramsey's winner against them to seal FA cup glory.

wengers set up with multiple players like ozil, ramsey, and Sanchez hovering between the lines always confounded contes tactical set up, and often had kante in a spin with too much activity to track. was just one of those tactical match ups that worked in our favour.

Easy to forget too that Ramsey had an engine that could match Kante across 90 minutes in a derby, and was a better player in virtually every other aspect. Bloke was champagne when he was fit for fight.

Just looked up our h2h record at Spuds shithole, just realised we haven't won there for 8 years since Rosicky scored in the 2nd min in 2014.

Last 7 visits, lost 5, drawn 2 (both of which we only had 10 men). Conceded 13, scored 3.

Didn't realised our record there was that bad ffs.

Totti is chatting shit lol. Beckham was a world star by the early 00’s. He signed for Real in summer of 2003. But point understood re Wenger.

Going back to tonight’s game. Which player of ours wants to be a hero? Imagine being the player that scores the winner to get us back into the CL. Not quite legendary status but definitely boderlining on cult hero status.

Don't have a great feeling about this one, especially if Saka doesn't start. I know we can drop ESR in there for him, but it's not the same. Unpredictability on both sides between Saka & Gabi with Eddie lurking in the middle causes problems, and ESR's link is more with Saka than anyone else.

Wouldn't be surprised if we lost and honestly I'd take a draw (a win would be awesome, simultaneously guaranteeing CL next season while knocking them out of it - but somehow I don't see it happening).

Last time we managed a win away to them was 2014. Since then we've gotten 2 draws and the rest losses. Not a great recent record.

Surely anyone would take a draw. Regardless of their quality or lack thereof it's a great result for our top 4 chances.
