If we get the first goal it’s huge.

Secondly if we can get it to 0-0 until the 60th min the pressure on them will be too much, they will be so nervy and we have to take advantage.

I was watching the Liverpool game and Romeo looks like a good defender but makes a lot of rash decisions, definitely has a mistake in him. Need to exploit that as well.

Romero is overrated but he’s a pretty good blood and thunder type defender. If we’re talking specifically for tomorrow then the Spanish LB with the annoying face too.

But yeah it’s mostly just Kane and Son, both genuinely world class.

Romero's been excellent since Conte arrived, he'd definitely be in there. A mixed eleven would be a close match with a slight Arsenal preference I think, but that's probably just my bias. The difference comes down to the goalkeepers in the end and neither if them is brilliant.

Combination XIs are up there with half and half scarves, American terminology like ‘roster’, and increased use of statistics like xX as things I’d love to see banished from the game.

I think we’ll win with what will be a surprisingly comfortable performance. Very excited about the game but annoyed the Thursday game means none at the weekend. Winning tomorrow will be a sweet way to consign Thursday night games to history.

Weirdly not nervous at all today. Will most likely change before the game but I’ve got a good feeling about this.

On a side note I did wake up fuming after dreaming about City unveiling Halaand and Odegaard as a double signing, the latter also on the cheep.

Broadly, that's it. I get it (though haven't fully understood how they're calculated), but I just don't like how they're used now.

I know you were a fan of his prior to the transfer, but I suspect if I reminded people of Mustafi's transfer coming from increased use of statistics in the game, I could get a strong movement of non-believers behind me 😆

I'd just go with our first XI but add Bentacur instead of Xhaka, Kane up top and Son on the LW.
