Claudius he isn’t buying sufficiently strong and abundant attackers, and he isn’t getting the attack to gel
Right, it's a chemistry issue.
In my opinion, Arteta does nearly everything right in terms of stability, trust, growth and continuity. Our multiple year rebuild has been characterised by foresight, a clear vision, and rational decision-making. But I believe he still lacks the touches of risk, chaos and alchemy that produce above average, or counterintuitively good returns—he has accumulated value in the squad, but he's not generating enough.
We would benefit from a little more brio, experimentation and surprise in our approach. Arteta's predictable common sense is costing us high fees in the market (as he is invariably only trying to sign those players we are most obviously desperate for), and on match days.
