Arteta demonstrated very quickly that he was special. Winning the FA Cup with a shit squat against City and Chelsea was exceptional. It's amazing how quickly people turned on him and couldn't recognise how bad the team was. I'm glad football fans have no power in football clubs.

Yes exactly. Because my grief is or was with the manager and his numerous suspect actions over the course of two years which many considered self serving or dickheadish in nature. While you Arteta fans come in here and make it personal against other fans. You did it in the past and even now when everyone is on board with the manager some of you still think you can "gloat" at those who wanted him out like anyone is sad about us sitting top of the table.

I’ve generally made an attempt not to revisit the past and rehash old arguments because honestly who cares? There’s far better things to take joy from and frankly I roll my eyes at those sorts of posts.

I can't even remember the last time I'd posted on this forum prior to the last couple of months of last season, so, no, not me. And even if it had been me, that wouldn't justify you incorrectly calling Arteta an "obnoxious self serving prick" now, would it?

Where we are now is a sign of a manager doing a great job with what he's got. This season is looking like a success beyond what we thought possible at the start.

I'm honestly expecting us to fall off as we're do reliant on Oartey and it's only a matter of time until he's our again but even if we do this will be a special season. Unless we completely implode but with our back 5/6 as solid as they are, I don't think we'll do too badly.
