No need to come down on Aubameyang like a ton of bricks or overstate any deficiencies of character or ability to be honest.
There were a multitude of reasons he was no longer going to be the right fit for the squad, but I don't feel like we handled his exit well, and though I appreciate having a manager who is decisive, I'm not convinced by the argument making Aubameyang a blood sacrifice was the final requisite to establish Arteta's authority. The bendover-backwards Barca deal that became our only option after that flashpoint looks likes utter voodoo now he's been transferred again at a profit to Chelsea.
Reality is we don't need to call Aubameyang names, he's a former match-winner for Arsenal. His bitterness will be impotent if we continue to succeed the way we are currently.
