I was at the game yesterday and unfortunately he was absolutely horseshit, prob worst I’ve ever seen him play. So static, Per Mertesacker may as well been playing up front.
I love the guy but think it’s time he leaves this summer. Play Martinelli up front for the rest of the season
Few other observations from the game:
1) Ode was everywhere, really influenced the game, a captains like performance but his one footness does worry me, he needs to release the ball quicker. He also should have scored with the chance he had.
2) Granit Xhaka’s middle name should be drama. Even in the game where he pretty much everything right and was calm he fucked up with the armband issue. Can’t he just have a quiet good solid game with no bs for once?
3) Partey was good and dynamic but still makes sloppy passes. One of these days it’s going to cost us bad.
4) Pepe was very positive and lively coming off the bench.
5) Cedric has now had two good performances back to back. He gets a lot of hate on here but he’s not bad back up.
6) Brentford are the worst Prem team I’ve ever seen live. No idea they are not in the bottom 3 but think they will get dragged down.
