His whole first half was sweet. He had that one mistake when he should have shot with his right foot, but thought he could draw the defender in and then free Saka, and got the timing wrong. But his touch and awareness is elite amongst the elite, and the imagination he has for seeing how the play is going to develop is beyond impressive.
In the first half I was watching Ben White intercepting like a god, pinging the ball left and right, and breaking lines with his ball carrying, and the already mentioned, Ødegaard, strutting around doing his thing and thinking how we had really added awesome quality with those two last summer.
