Well that wasn't pleasant, but a very important victory nonetheless. Credit to the team for their defensive work today, that was mostly outstanding and it's not the first time this season. The less said about our attack the better.

Apparently according to the laws of the game of the game if you're trying to stop a promising attack then you shouldn't get a yellow if advantage is played - makes sense, Martineli failed to stop the quick thrown hence why he chased down and fouled the other guy.

Aside from the technicalities though it's typical of 'look at me' style refereeing from PL officials. Never apply any commons sense.

Jesus. Just watched the replay. Painful, painful stuff. That miss from Laca destroyed my soul.

The refereeing...it's all out war on Arsenal now, and they get away with it time and time again. There is no PL until the PGMOL is disbanded as far as I'm concerned, it's in occultation.
