I already don't like this transfer, and it's got nothing to do with the player.

What I don't like is why the frakk are we not bringing him in now when the MLS season is finished, and when we have clubs interested in signing Leno? What it likely means for us is we keep another player on starting wages for another 5 months before they depart in the summer for frakk all if anything. Likewise if I was his MLS club I'd be looking to sign and play his replacement ahead of him.

This is sadly quite true. It was especially striking to me when I was listening to Medvedev's presser after his loss to Nadal. I don't think ever seen that level from introspection from any footballer I've listened to. Drive to Survive is another example, the guys in F1 just come across as being so much more interesting than footballers.

Sure weren't people calling Joey Barton an intellectual at one stage for a carrying his stuff in and NPR bag and listened to Morrissey.
