Certainly looks like our transfer strategy for this transfer window is all or nothing re Vlahovic and Melo = shades of AW and not finding anyone available to improve the quality we already have.
If we don't land Vlahovic in this window we won't be signing him in the summer as he will be most clubs alternative to Haaland. I also think the likes of Isak and Schick will also be targeted as will Jonathan David. I also think DCL is likely to leave Everton, but will go for a premium price to NUFC for around the same money as Haaland's release clause, and we will not compete for either player beyond an initial enquiry. I suspect we may well end up with a planB signing becoming our default planA much like we saw with Giroud, and with much the same outcomes.
