Tactics

We should stop playing out from the back. With Salah and Mane both absent, they are 100% reliant on counters and crosses/set pieces. Cut out their chance to counter and you only have to worry about their crosses (which we should be able to deal with if everyone is fully concentrated).

We have, but we have been very much on the ropes for most of that half. Like a lamb being led, slowly, inevitably to slaughter.

Hope we are as lucky in the second half and can maybe steal a goal from one of our infrequent attacks. Give the boys something to hold on to.

Would agree with that. Like I said before the Forest game I've not been very impressed with him so far but he needs more time. He's had one and a half terrible game, but was decent before that. It's not like the rest of the team were excellent against Forest.

We aren't really playing out the back. Ramsdale was booting the ball out almost every time he got a foot on it.

Agree with that. Liverpool are pretty shit without Salah and Mané as well. But out fearless leader made sure to make up for that.

If we can somehow get a draw here, or even just lose by 1 goal, that'd be a good result at this point.

Thats how we always play. Its why I think Vlahovic is a good idea.
