Must say, I like this referee. Not the most difficult of games to ref, but he was spot on. Hopefully he can become a regular at PL level soon. God knows we're in dire need of competent referees.

He's demanding more playing time with a performance like this. Eddie wants to leave so he doesn't really do that even with a hattrick.
A thought for another day but we really need Aubameyang and Pépé 2nd half of the season. We could get a decent return from this season if fences are mended and everyone contributes their bit

We should keep Pepe in the mix for next season too because if we get into Europe he'd be really important.

In all seriousness we need to start using him more intelligently. It’s a shame he’s going to AFCON just as the FA Cup and League Cup semis are starting.
Hopefully we'll at least more subs appearances from Pepe if not starts after this performance

I agree. He's not a starter but he's showing enough ability and heart to at least get a few more minutes than he has done in recent months. Shouldn't be frozen out - if nothing else so that he fetches some value when we do sell him.

Definitely should have been a pen towards the end though.
