he won't be easy to move. chelsea would have to subsidize his salary. once a big club makes a huge mistake on an old player, there aren't that many other clubs that can afford them.

if you believe there will be a lot of suitors, list the clubs that can afford to pay his wages.

I didn't even know Lukaku was a fan of New York 90s street fashion. Don't know the origin of this joke but for me it clearly refers to his first touch being so shit it looks like he's wearing heavy boots.

Looool, I dunno if he is or isn't lol. As a black man born in the early 90s it wouldn't surprise me if he was into late 90s/early 200s rap as a lot of people were.

If it was just his touch they'd just put any kinda boots on him and leave it there. Instead they got him wearing baggy jeans, cash falling out his pockets etc. They've added some UK black/chav urban streetwear as well with those little side bags and shit. All that's missing is some gold chains and New Era caps.

I've seen him get some flack on social media for talking like an American teenager that's into rap, I think there's a clip of him on Chelsea TV saying 'Damn y'all wylin man' (accent and all).

All to play for although slightly concerned West Ham could go 5 points ahead of us tomorrow albeit played two more. Luckily they have Europa League football and potentially a few FA cup games and I think they will fade eventually.

Man Utd, who I thought were favourites for 4th look all over the place with disharmony in the camp (apparently Martial refused to travel with the squad yesterday + Ronaldo has rumoured to be not getting along with some players too).

Spurs do have a WC manager in Conte but they’ve looked utterly shit whenever I’ve watched them, not super concerned about them (jinx).

We need to watch out for Wolves in our rear mirror but at the same time we can also catch Chelsea…

Both Spurs and Chelsea have tricky away games next and then play each other next Sunday.

Still think top 4 this year is a massive opportunity for us and definitely achievable. Note that we won’t be playing GW25 (Chelsea away who are in WCC) and GW27 (weekend of Carabao Cup final and we would have been playing Liverpool at home). We only play 3 league games in the next 6 weeks but we should be going into the final 15 games from March onwards as having the freshest squad and one clear vision in mind.

Based on all this I would be disappointed if we didn’t get top 4 now. Let’s fucking do it!

It's all falling into place quite nicely - even the international break is coming at a good time in terms of (hopefully) allowing all of our absentees to get back. A big move or two in the transfer market will do nicely to boost our chances further.

IMO we need to strengthen both CM and CF starting options in this transfer window - do that and we should be good enough to get it done.

If our rivals for Europe are United, Spurs and West Ham (and now Chelsea arguably falling into the mix) then we're not badly placed but nothing is locked in. Beating Spurs would be huge.

Centre forward is the position we would most benefit from a signing over the remainder of the season, given so few fixtures. I think it would change our outlook and make us much harder to organise against. I think we'll face brutal defending on the wings without it.

One reason we're letting eg Maitland-Niles go is that we're not going to be playing much. We have nothing to offer fringe players at the moment.
