Have to say I’m delighted to see Ten Hag fail. I find him thoroughly unlikeable. Thought he got way more credit than he deserved last year too and the whole ‘United are back’ angle was so premature.

I think anyone who couldn’t distinguish their progress last year to our progress last year looks at football at a really superficial level.

The problem is Utd have a series of about 7 winnable games until they play City at home.

Now we actually may need them to go on a run. I hate Utd and would love them to implode but City have few away games where they could drop points, Utd away is definitely one of them. Therefore, we need them to NOT be in crisis mode by then.

they have one of the worst cultures of any top club. endless backstabbing and leaking, and no leadership to stamp it out.

they have a fairly forgiving run of fixtures coming up for the next few months. if they're still a mess by the end of that, nine hag will get the chop imo

Havertz is massively talented but I hated the signing. He might be damaged goods but either way he was never going to slot in immediately and given the way we're spending there was zero need for a project let alone one where we balance Chelsea's books for them

We look worse than last season clearly. Not sure we can have expect everyone to contribute as many goals as last season so we might be in for a long season

I expected Rice to not get injured for us but Partey was similarly robust at Atletico so that's on me for thinking Arsenal wouldn't find a way.

Said enough about Arteta that people here started openly hating me lol so I don't want to rekindle that fire. A rough patch early in the season doesn't mean all the good from last season is undone but he REALLY needs to start using his entire squad, maybe even some of our bright academy kids otherwise it'll be a long season

Man Utd lucky after the refs stole the headlines yesterday, another loss and things are not in a good way at that club. The media want to blame Glazers but Ten Hag has had massive financial backing so far. Got them into CL last year but this year they look worse despite the big spending.
