If he starts the rest of the season I'll even be fine with Arteta staying. Came on at 0-1 with 20 minutes to go against the biggest shit houses in the league (think they dropped like two points from winning positions all season), scores a brilliant equaliser and sets up the last second winner

Absolutely, he gave the team what it desperately needed. He has won his place 100%.

Very happy for him because he looked a pale imitation for much of the first half of the season. I'm not sure he'll work out long term - let's see - but who cares when there is so much to play for right now. An on fire Pépé for the next 3 months and we're walking 4th.

He's just a talent, Pépé. He's gonna frustrate us but he's got those rare qualities that remind you of strikers we had twenty years ago.

You can chip £5m off his fee for the 26 minutes he gave us today.

He's proven end product, in a young team (plus Laca), we desperately need that. Whether he starts or not we need to count on him more, even if it's earlier off the bench.

Wrong night to beat on Laca, but with ESR, Martinelli, Saka, Ode and Pepe all competing for a starting spot it doesn't make sense to not try and cram one more of them in.

If we can use ESR in a midfield V then I don't see why not.
ESR as false9 linking with Odegaard & Saka, with Martinelli and Pepe as IFs attacking the box from wide?
Certainly gives us more scoring options.

Because we can't be waiting till the last 20 minutes every week. We were extremely close to losing 2 points today. Needs to be in the starting mix at the very least. If ESR is fit it complicates things.

What are the odds that Pepe starts next game? I'd have it down around 30%....

I don't mind Arteta, but I'm worried he'll have Pepe on the bench next game. With only one game a week it seems like too much shuffling to bring him in.

Delighted for him! So happy also that people finally recognize his worth to our team. There are so many random unfair accusations in the previous pages about him but fact is it's untrue and he has always worked hard for us and is a end product player.

I don't expect Arsenal to start him every game but will be happy if he admits his mistake and integrate Pepe more into our team. Superb to win us such a crucial game.

Bergkamp and Van Persie are probably the only other guys I've seen for us who you'd predict to pull that turn off in that position.

I'd like to see us make subs earlier. We could easily give him 35mins off the bench if we're struggling.r

Love Nico. Think this sub role suits him quite well. Could very well pay back his fee with a couple more clutch goals this season.

He has definitely looked sharper in his last two appearances. He is all about end product, has always given us that. Arteta has to find a way of using him more.

With Øde, ESR, Martinelli, Saka and Pepe I don't see a bad combination of three players to line up with. But based on form it should be ESR, Øde and Pepe next match. Like Qwiss said though Saka could probably even play in Xhaka's position and make a good figure.
