Hard to pick the right striker for us at the moment. The options behind are all very young and still developing, so experienced options like Auba and Laca are to a degree more necessary this season. If we had sold one, then maybe could have brought in a project CF. Problem is Odegaard, Saka and Smith-Rowe do not look like they will be able to ease the scoring burden on the striker any time soon. So to get a clinical striker who can hold up the ball for a team potentially out of European places again is going to be a tough ask.
I like how Toney has adapted to the PL so far, but he has impressed without really scoring. If Greenwood came available would consider it or even that Japanese striker from Celtic, Furuhashi, who has looked decent so far.
