Striking technique sure, but his overall statistical metric is really similar in style to Mario Gomez as mentioned by Ray. In a good way to me. Similarly prolific at young age too and even the same height.

Don't think we can do much wrong if we pull this off. The only weakness in his game is aerially but we don't cross high these days anyway

I think if we want the kid, we get him. We know how to package an offer. This isn't our first rodeo. Unless he absolutely just doesn't want to come here perhaps because of our lack of champions league - we can't blame him for that, we just have to make it worth his while financially as our penance. But his agent knows he is still young and can sign maybe a 5 year contract, betting on our upward trajectory, before his peak years when he can then decide what he might want to do next. But He can create his own legacy here first. Welcome Vlahovic. Let's do it.

Arteta loves to keep a player just in case, for better or for worse. Can't imagine he'd let AMN go if we're not signing anyone.

We don’t ask that of Saka, he is predominantly left footed too. The boy is good. Who cares what foot he plays with?

Bodes well. I remember I wishlisted Gabriel and most here rubbished him and say he is too one footed for a CB.

We will probably sell Auba and Nketiah this window and sign someone. Might give Laca a 1 year extension in the meantime while waiting for Balogun to be ready.

I think at the time it was also pointed out that this is hardly ever mentioned as a potential problem about right-footed players.

Does anyone have any concerns about him (seemingly) being hesitant to join us?

It never sat well with me that we had to overpay to keep Ozil and Aubameyang, and whilst Vlahovic is a completely different profile I'm still concerned about his motivation. I know there will be a healthy crossover between our ambitions and a club and his as a young player, but I'd be worried about his motivation and how he would fit into a group that really seem to be pulling together.

I think right now the image fans have about Arsenal's future (a lot of young good players) is quite a bit ahead of where the rest of the world view our situation, as they will mostly just see our results in absolute terms. If he comes I think he'd buy into it soon enough.

we didn't have to overpay to keep those two, we chose to overpay (stupidly) to keep them. that was their last big contract and they knew it. this should be this guy's first big contract if he's about anything.
