this was yesterday, so it sounds like he's considered to be fit enough

Is it because of Brexit?

He didn't come to london for medical, he had medical in Bologna, asked to get an Arsenal jersey from a local store and pose with it outside the clinic, then flew straight to Japan. He only had his real photoshoot and acclimatization to Colney yesterday.

I don't think there were any issues. Like Clrnc says, he hasn't been with us because we signed him just before the international break started.

This guy looks good, at first glance I don’t think he’ll have any issues playing at right back. Looks super switched on and plays on his toes.

I know it's not important compared to his defending - which looks top drawer - but the technique for that volley is absurdly good. Very strangely, he reminds of Rosicky when he strikes the ball. Although the volley had a touch of van Persie's volley against Charlton about it

He just looks a super player to me. I think you could play him just about anywhere and he'd thrive.

Looked good to me. Will never be one of the greats but does the job Wan Bissaka-style.

He’s a much more powerful runner than Bellerin, even if Bellerin could match his speed, which is questionable

considering he's just walked in door, this was a sound debut. no fuss, high energy, minimal mistakes. if he keeps up those qualities he'll be a hit

Have to say, I'm really liking this signing. Strong in the challenge, switched on, decent in attack and super comfortable with both feet.

Having been skeptical I was surprised by how he got forward and what he showed when he did. Also seems to have a martial personality which will be a huge benefit in a pretty raw and miserable team.

Overall so far the signings of the summer are showing more on the pitch than perhaps they represented on paper, good group of talents.

Honestly I already love Tommy. Doubted the signing at the time and especially with the comments he was more a CB but the guy is quality. Monster in the air and super tough to get past. Reminds me of Sagna in a lot of ways defensively.hus attacking support game also seems promising so far but I'll have to see a bit more there.

Reckon the guy could be good as a CB as well if needed. Has all the tools to play there as well.

Have to give credit to Arteta and Edu. Dude will deffo become a fan favourite I think.

Sound like a broken record, but most of the signings made under Arteta have been top notch.

Patience is needed. Had folk thinking “what’s Dools seeing that my untrained eye isn’t” - well folk are starting to see where we’re heading.

Ricky gets it. I’ve not seen him this chipper since the time I taught him how to pull women!
