Thought he has quite a poor reputation with Ajax. I remember Gurgen or Jones commenting a year or so ago that he was nicknamed Marc Neto and had a terrible record in the market.

My wish for the next manager and DoF is that having been at Arsenal before isn't relevant for the hiring process.

I think he had a very rocky start, but turned it around significantly.

He was nicknamed Marc Netto because he sold a lot of players and some people felt he did that too early/for too low a price. However, he subsequently sold Ajax' stars for astronomicals sums, so from that perspective he has done a pretty good job. Those were of course world class talents, unlike our deadwood, but at least he knows how to sell

IMO we should be going hard for Edwards from LFC when he leaves at the end of this season.
