City look one paced at times. It is crazy that in a frantic up and down game, the premier league team is the one who looks timid.

Bloke is multiple ballon d'ors just waiting to happen. I so rarely get thrilled over watching football players anymore but he's incredible, so goddamn fun to watch when he's on song. Going to be the dominating Brazilian baller for the next decade surely. Just impossibly good at times. Making them look like bloody amateurs here:

Great seeing that happen to City. The worry is they collapse in the league now and Liverpool do actually end up with everything.

Pep just doesn't know what to do away from home in Europe 😆 Though to be fair, they were the better of two disappointing teams tonight for 90 minutes, and should have finished it. But that Real team has character and belief that City just don't. Final against Liverpool should be great.

Personally I don’t think walker was really injured either. He just wanted to come as Vinicius didn’t slow down as the match went on, but he was getting tired

I think this will motivate City more to go full pelt and secure the league. And RM are the only club to challenge Pool's CL pedigree and beat them.

Mind boggling Klaus.I've hardly seen such multidimensionality at this young age if at all, and then he's got several of those key intangibles that the greats have. Finishing should get better. He was faced with a Walker puzzle. He embraced it head on right away, undeterred by the initial lack of success.

He was good but Walker had him in his pocket until he got semi-injured around HT.

Very good talent though.

Real Madrid is still Real Madrid after all. Beaten PSG Chelsea and City now. Ancelotti masterclass. Which is why it was laughable when people claim English teams will do them easily and they or PSG are poor poor teams.

And once again Pep bottles it on the big stage. Clutch moments my ass

I love that apparently this is one of the worst officiated matches in the CL, and Citeh were the victims. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

To be fair I think it's less about Pep and more about the players this time. Until you win the CL you're going to have to get over that extra mental hurdle to go all the way. Madrid on the other hand feel like they own the competition - people underestimate this aspect of the game.
