That's basically my point. You can't make a point about the necessity of spending money and cite an anomaly as an example. There will always be teams that over perform against the odds in any given season or competition - it doesn't mean that's a realistic expectation - hence why Villareal are a middling spanish team and will always remain as such, or why Leicester have eventually found their way back there.
Not a shot at Unai, I actually predicted he'd do well back in Spain when he left here.
