Forget about the chasm between 'perfection' and the garbage we're served every match week, not even the premise "you only get one perspective of incidents" is true that's literally the point of VAR.
There are plenty of decent refs all over Europe including in England, it's just the PL more than any other league seems to enjoy or at least have no problem with scandalous refereeing performances by people who like Coombs said "manage" a game. A former ref in Clattenburg is even on record that it's what he's been doing his whole career.
