There's a couple of kicks in there where he gets huge distance on a kick from the ground - the one at the 1-minute mark particularly, it goes from his 6-yard box to dropping 10-yards short of the opponent's box - I've seen Ederson do that and been like wtf? But not seen anyone else in England do it. I'm also saying the straight knifed pass he hits could be turned into a useful weapon too. If he's accurate with it, a good goalkeeping coach with a clever manager could turn that into a tactical advantage.
I still don't know what he's like when he under pressure and has to control well, think quickly and play passes at the right time and with the right weight - the part Leno struggles badly with - but he can certainly hit the ball long in ways that Leno can't, and that's a good start.
I've read in a few places now that he throws really well too, and looks to start a counter whenever he claims a cross. Which is a bugbear I have with Leno because he lacks urgency and it drives me mad.
