Watched the game again today. This guy Ode has to be my favourite post invincibles player - that includes Judas and Cesc. As @Qwiss has mentioned, he’s a wonderful leader on the field. I loved how he scored a big goal and immediately told the team to get back to business. And there’s nobody who makes me more comfortable when he’s on the ball than this guy. You just know the ball will be safe and positive things will happen.

Claudius watched the highlights again last night too and I think the brilliance of that second goal has been a bit overlooked since the match because of the drama of the late goals but it was perfect from start to finish. Amazing football. United could only dream of scoring a goal that good.

I've been singing Arteta's praises as a coach in the Eddie thread but again, you have to credit him with the way Odegaard has unlocked his goal-scoring ability. It feels like a small adjustment that has made a big difference to both player and team.

Don Pacifico Before last season, that was my issue with Odegaard. He always had a decent shot on him but never really took advantage of it, he would get into great positions and then do an Ozil, and he would go for the extra pass and all that. Not anymore, love him. What a steal this transfer was.

Burnwinter you can understand why we’ve kept both Partey and Jorginho based on this visual. We have a beer young and inexperienced team.

But kudos to Edu/Arteta. This is one of the healthiest age profiles in the league and positions is well for a 5 or 6 year run finishing 2nd to City
