Ødegaard's not in great shape or form and not helping the team as he once did currently.
The deep-lying running on the ball looks a bit like a lack of physical confidence after the injuries. I don't think that Tet video counts as a criticism of Ødegaard, but it would be vaguely comforting if the inscrutable things the player's doing weren't part of some six-dimensional tactical chess.
I think the criticism of him has become overheated. It looks to me like wasting chances is a bigger problem for us than failing to create them. It's just another demonstration of how many anxious, hungry wolves there are among Arsenal fans.
Even so, if Ødegaard's form is going to be so debatable the best thing would be for Eze to hijack the position with a few undroppably good performances.
