It's been a joy watching him over the last few games, genuinely think we haven't had someone with his close control and passing technique since the likes of Fabregas and Wilshere. That little lobbed assist he played, think it was against Leeds, was like something Laudrup would do.
I wonder if it's time to try Martinelli up front, just so we can add ESR to the team again. I do believe Laca has been really important to our recent form, but I also believe talented players make each other better, and if Ode, Saka, ESR and Martinelli could figure out a way to play together, we wouldn't need to sign another forward for the starting 11 in a decade! I really think it could work too, we'd lose Laca's hold-up play of course, but the energy levels would be absolutely off the charts, I think very few defences would be able to keep up with those 4.
