Kroos is one of the best mids of this millennium. Losing him was a massive blow. Most Real games are chaotic up and down affairs, dependent on the heroics of the big 4 and Valverde. You rarely ever feel like they’d ~~can~~ ratchet up or ratchet down pace.

I still think Zubi is pretty much a done deal for us. Yeah, Real could use him, but he had to see us just dismantle Real twice, and think maybe he might rather come here. I still think Wirtz is gonna end up at City (*unless they get hit with punishment)

Ancelotti is being made the scapegoat but a lot of Madrid's problems are down to the upper management's poor squad plannng. They've not replaced Kroos and have they added more attacking players when they needed defenders. Like the opposite of us 😆

Mbappe for all the stick he has got has 27 league goals in 31 games, bloody good numbers considering it took him a few weeks to find his feet and they've had issues around getting the system working.

JazzG flick has rejuvenated so many of their players. he had plenty of talent to work with ofcourse, but other coaches have also tried and not extracted this much out of guys like raphinha and FDJ

The thing about De Jong is that they expected Xavi or Pirlo, and he's more of a great progresser with the ball. Anti-tikitaka player who dribbles from deeper positions. He needed to wait a bit for Barca to change before he got his dues.

It annoys me to no end that Flick found a way to use him properly. He's a player I enjoy watching and I don't like to watch Barcelona so I was really hoping he'd be pushing for a move somewhere else.

That’s certainly not Barca’s approach over the last decade for their deepest midfielder. He’s as different to Busquets/Xavi as Fabregas was.

I think there has been a lot of propaganda out of the Barca hierarchy to push him out and that turned fans against him. He’s in big wages and during covid he deferred some of them. Now they are having to pay those wages back that it annoying the upper management so they’ve tried to make him out as being greedy and not caring about the club.

When Man Utd had a big bid for him accepted they were pushing out crazy stuff. Sickening how that club operates and turns on players. I wonder if he stays or next summer walks for free.

Claudius Barca are scum but I've enjoyed them bitch slapping Madrid all season who are much worse in every aspect. Opp of an opp is a friend or something like that.

Ref performance yesterday was genuinely outrageous, no way Perez doesn't have Hernandez' family held hostage somewhere you don't put in a Mike Riley level showing like that if someone doesn't have that kind of leverage over you.
