Should be added the reason why his salary is so high is one down to the previous regime's incompetence and secondly a lot of that salary is deferred wages during covid. He's not that well liked by the Barca fans so he needs to decide if he is just in it for the money, or he can join one of the best projects in World football who'd build the midfield around him and still get paid a fuck load. If he just wants the money let him fuck off to PSG, if he actually wants to realise his potential then Arsenal is the best place for him. In the summer Zubimendi & Kimmich may be available so not like we don't have other options either.

From what I can gather from more reasonable Barca fans, it seems the problem isn't just Xavi but he is surrounded by friends/family as staff members and they aren't up to the required level. If surrounded by suitable people he might be better off.

Legendary player, up there with the all time great midfielders imo. I'd put him on par with the likes of Xavi, won everything at club level and the World Cup.

Going out after the Euros, probably feels in himself his legs are going and doesn't want to go out looking a shadow of his former self. Surprised he didn't go the America, didn't seem like the type to go to Saudi.
