Btw not advocating putting him on the right and shifting Saka left. When I originally posted this it had just the forwards, then added the 8s behind them.

What I didn't realise when adding that was that there was a difference in the orientation when added below or above the forward names. What it should have looked like was:

Big Willie willie, I could support this. Madrid don’t need to sell, even with all the incomings, but this guy would be great. He connects well with other players, can score and create.

Only concerns I have are strength and speed. Speed especially. Yesterday against City, we didn’t have anyone to stretch them. We have Nketiah, ESR, Vieira, Trossard, etc. - a million forwards who can’t come in and just give threat of pace the way Nelli does.

Claudius Eddie has that pace, I reckon when he moves to a midtable team with more room in behind it'll become really obvious. He's failry hopeless vs a low block though.

by the sounds of it Rodrygo is happy to stay at real and fight for a place, even in the knowledge he'll be benched most of the time. reckon it'll take a year or two of that before we moves anywhere

Should be added the reason why his salary is so high is one down to the previous regime's incompetence and secondly a lot of that salary is deferred wages during covid. He's not that well liked by the Barca fans so he needs to decide if he is just in it for the money, or he can join one of the best projects in World football who'd build the midfield around him and still get paid a fuck load. If he just wants the money let him fuck off to PSG, if he actually wants to realise his potential then Arsenal is the best place for him. In the summer Zubimendi & Kimmich may be available so not like we don't have other options either.
