They're playing well and at a high technical level. The speed of passing in attackimg areas in that Leipzig game was something else. They are a bit risky at the back , but Alonso has them ticking nicely.
If it was possible and we could get Wirtz and Frimpong from that side we would be very good

The way Xabi uses his fullbacks is quite something else.

His football is revolutionary, not a Pep copycat and constantly attacking, fast paced from wide areas

Love a 3-4-3 that is offensive.

Actually feels like an unique system, where as so many of the 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formations seem static.

i like innovative coaches. even though arteta got me onside last season, i don't like the fact that he's a copy cat.

Meatwad I feel a little of this, it often feels we are trying to just replicate whereas you need to come up with new things continually to get those margins to win the big things.

Did Alonso transform Leverkusen or were they already on the up? Impressive to me that they are unbeaten

mohan He totally transformed them. He took over mid of last season when they were near the relegation zone.

The most impressive thing is not only about the whole style transformation, but he also bought players like Nathan Tella from Southampton to replace their best player Diaby, and low key signings like Grimaldo and Frimpong on a cheap. They are now the best fullbacks duo in Europe.

His first managerial debut season as things stand is even more impressive than Pep's. Unbeaten in all competition with those insane stats.
