I think he's vastly under rated much like Sagna was.
Both enable a player ahead of them to play far more freely than is typically accepted of a winger in a high functioning team. White has built a solid understanding with both Saka and Odegaard, and when alongside Partey and Saliba that side has been fantastic defensively. I look at the defensive work of Martinelli and it's far great than what we ask of Saka, and I worry that prioritizing Timber over White will lead to challenges for Saka and Odegaard.
