I think the issue lies with Steve Holland rather than White. Arteta has always praised White's professionalism, his teammates were quick to back him so I can only assume there was a clash of personalities that he wasn't comfortable with.

I love his mentality personally. With him, Saliba and Zinchenko (though he goes a little too far sometimes) in the back line you have 3 guys with an unreal level of composure under pressure and it's deliberate imo. If Gabriel and Saliba didn't make such a great partnership I'd have not been surprised to see us try and bring someone else in with a similar mindset.

What's going on with this guy? Some really poor defending from him recently. And he isn't giving us much on the over lap either. Beginning to worry we might need to upgrade already.

I am Arsenal Till I Die best player is really stretching it but he improved in the 2nd half for sure. There's not much between him and Tomi atm as you can see when Tomi came on we had very good movement down the right too and he overlapped better to help Saka.

I think White is simply tired after the world cup. He looks less agile for some reason and accelerate slower than usual. Even for all the through balls you can tell he really had to work to get to the end of a simple pass
