We thought his aerial weakness was gonna trouble us, but he reminded me of prime Mustafi yesterday with his backing off and allowing Edouard a full picture to select his finish. He is a very underdeveloped CB, which poses the question: why not go with the other underdeveloped French CB we had instead of shelling out £50m for this guy? This is the sort of damage a novice will do and leave you with a mess that the next manager would be tasked with undoing.

I didn't know much about him but the money spent on him means he had to come in and instantly be making an impact making us better and that doesn't look the case so then what's the thinking behind the signing. The price isn't his fault but unfortunately that's the reality of this type of signing.
