Loan Watch 21/22
Claudius - not so confident of that myself. Nketiah has played as a winger too, and I think ultimately it’s very hard to overcome your natural instincts and play style.
Hope Balogun can do it but it’ll be a long journey from ripping Ligue 1 to being a starting CF at Arsenal after what Jesus, Trossard, and Martinelli have shown.
Blackpool leading 5-1 against QPR with half an hour to go and Patino has a couple of assists.
Don Pacifico -- seems to have added some steel to his game.

he needs a loan in spain next season. that hustle and bustle is not good for his long term development. good for this year so he knows what men's football is like, but he needs to be in a more technically proficient team. maybe after we or some other club take viega from celta vigo we can loan patino to them. he has paternal ties to the area as well.
Another goal for Balogun

Flo's a machine, but he might want to save the ones where someone actually marks him for the highlights reel. Don't think he'd have scored that so easily if Saliba had followed through on his threat to stay at Marseille.
Hale End Haaland. Coming for Jesus’ spot.
Can he drop 'n link?
Gotta piss Guendouzi off to see an Arsenal player score against his team. Lol.
Ahead of Vieira probably.
Don't think he'd be willing to sit on the bench.
I think guendouzi would sub in for Xhaka. He’s played in more advanced roles and has typically favored the left side. Had a stormer there vs Tottenham once.

Xhaka is miles better than Douzi. The latter was a nutcase when it came to positioning and discipline. Whenever he played our midfield turned into a sieve. Maybe Arteta could have refined his game and having Partey in behind would have helped but I'm not convinced.
I'd lost patience with him before he was banished and it's definitely not one I look back at thinking what could have been.
He was 19 when he was playing for us. Positional discipline comes with time and coaching. He's much better now and he's still only 23. We got rid of him and brought in Sambi who's not on the same level. Badly handled all round.
Qwiss I think this is one of those decisions that with time have vindicated Arteta to a certain extent. It was clear that at that time, Guendozi would not be able to espouse the values and what Arteta wanted to instill. At the time, I thought more effort should have been made because of the raw talent there. But given how the squad has evolved and where the team is now, it's hard to say that he didn't get that one right in the end. Of course, having a more mature Guendouzi that would have bought in to what is happening now would be ideal, but it's impossible to know if that was possible or would have come at a greater cost.
