Thanks for sharing! Sounds like his loan is going really well. Excited for him to come back and join our young group of cb’s. Should be set for a few years with Gabi, White, Saliba and Tomi when we need him.

I mean he’s playing regular football in his home country, at a decent club with aspirations, and have you guys ever heard those Marseille fans in full voice? I wouldn’t come here without some serious show of intent or ambition from Arsenal.

Only way I see it is if we still want him, and we have somehow managed to qualify for the champions league next year.

Either way we should recoup whatever we spent on him from whichever club comes in for him at the end of the season. He won’t lack suitors.

Don't forget Saliba is a huge self-confessed Arsenal fan. He'll be watching today wishing he was out there in that atmosphere. For sure.

I don't know what that's referring to, but I am very glad Guendouzi is not coming back. I genuinely couldn't stomach him toward the end. I even found Cucurella for Brighton was annoying me a bit last bight because his hair bobs around like Guendouzi's! 😆

Saw a report Saliba also came in for criticism for his part in conceding 2 goals & was voted onto the worst XI for the round.

According to some reports, Guendozi has a bit of falling out and pissed off some of his teammates at Marseille with his general attitude.

To be fair I didn’t mind his personally, I liked how annoying other fans found him. But he’s clearly a nightmare.

His big problem has always been that he's got way too little talent to back up his ego. No one held it against Fabregas that he threw pizza at Ferguson because he was godlike, but when you're 22 and still can't turn with the ball your immature behaviour will begin to grate both fans and teammates.

The big regret about Guendouzi is that we ever invested so much time in him to begin with when it would have been much easier to just sign someone better with more upside. We found Lokonga this summer for instance who's two or three times the player, and younger to boot.
