Good loan for him. Really needs to make an impact this season if he's going to have a future at Arsenal.
Tidy player but I don't think he's ever going to make it here. Hopefully he does well enough to whip up a bit of interest so we can sell for a good fee somewhere down the line.
really like the guy, but seems to be perpetually crocked.
That said, so was ESR.

Yeah he'd really need to find form out of nowhere. That said I think its a great time to be a loaned out Arsenal player. If you do well and we have Europa football next season then there should be a squad place ready and waiting for you.
I think this is a mistake. Hope we still send him out for a season.
No Europa League groupstage this year either. What the hell is he going to do at Arsenal? Guys like him and Balogun should have had Championship loans secured already.

It'll probably depend on the shape of the squad and xhaka staying and transfers. Parteys fitness.
I don't mind a half a year loan. Youth players are usually burnt out by the intensity after half a first full season. Jack's Bolton loan was half a season and willocks was half a season I think.
Keeping him on our bench for an entire season instead of letting him play somewhere else will be a big mistake. Willock's was half a season but he had the Europa League before then.
Willock got a decent bit of football for us before he went out on loan though. If we had those Europa games I'd be happy enough to keep these lads around but without them I think we should loan them out and get games into them. If we do qualify for Europe next season at least they'll be ready to come in and help us out then too.
I'd like to see him and others in the league cup. Can go on loan after that just fine I should think.
That could be just 1 or 2 games.

We really are a brilliantly run club. We made the same mistake with Nelson just last season. Killed off any momentum and improvements he had made the season before. Now we're probably going to sell him for peanuts, whereas he could have built up some kind of reputation in the Championship to boost his value or improved enough to become useful for our own use.
Still can't believe we didn't encourage Nelson and Nketiah to actively go on loans. They have wasted like 2 years of their career here basically doing nothing but be a very fringe player, and most importantly 2 years of crucial development in key ages.
If we sell Willock, then keep Azeez. Otherwise he need to go out on loan this season
We did, though. Was reported everywhere that Nelson asked to stay.

So the club say, his agent said different. Who knows the truth.
vieira is still reportedly interested in him. he needs regular premier league football urgently
I'm gonna reach here, but I really think that with a lot of work and a lot of luck one day he might just be as good as Pablo Mari. I know how crazy it sounds when you say it out loud but ... it might just happen. Guendouzi also had a good game.
Not sure what your point is. You think he is thrash and not even as good as Mari now?
He's being ironic.
Ah okay, because I watched the game and he was superb last night.
Also, as good as Lokonga is, he is still very raw, even more raw when Guendouzi first came to us.
