That's a fair point, Flob. Although, I do think he had some of the best footballers of their generation: Cech, Terry, Ivanovich, Ashley Cole, Essien, Lampard, Drogba, Torres, Anelka - and they gave it one last hurrah to win the trophy that had eluded them.
I don't think Di Matteo did anything notable to make it happen. By contrast, I think Arteta took a dodgy squad with a couple of good players, and was clever enough tactically to get it done.
