Agree. Their underlying stats aren't great and they're horrible to watch. I think they'll drop to 3rd eventually.

Have to say I've not been impressed by them when I've seen them. Seem gappy in defence (but teams haven't been able to take advantage) and just brutally clinical up front.

Thiago Silva is so brilliant. I really wish we'd have gotten him instead of extending with fucking Luiz at the time.

As far as defenders in the 2010s go I think he's only beaten by Chiellini, and then there's a fairly sizeable drop down to people like Ramos, Hummels, etc.

West Ham have more drive ambition and qggression than us. Arteta is all about safety and containment ( small club mentality ) and when we go behind against any side we have no clue.

west ham use what they have very well. directness and physical gusto. not convinced they'll keep it up beyond Christmas though

West Ham will 100% fall away. They play at such a high intensity it’s impossible for them to sustain it, especially with Europe and a small squad.

He is and was better than Chiellini.

I am changing my opinion of Declan Rice.

I used to think that he was another over hyped English youngster but he is now nicely developing into a monstrous midfield marauder.
