If Leeds go down, or even if they don't, Raphina would be a superb pick up for us next season. He's similar in some ways to Pépé, but his quality is more slanted to his touch, technique and passing - he would suit what we're trying to do well in my opinion. He also works bloody hard and is very switched on without the ball.

Just won Leeds the game with a well executed 93rd minute penalty too. He'd be the perfect player to challenge Smith Rowe and Saka in those wide positions.

Genuinely no idea how you think the league's "extremely (!) strong". Bar Chelsea West Ham and Brighton (and lately Liverpool) I don't even think any team is playing to the best of their ability. I know you love talking the EPL up but I'm not even saying the league's poor compared to others it's poor measured by its own standards.

Also Newcastle really might be going down 😆 They play Burnley next then Leicester Liverpool City and United. Great news obviously in terms of Saudi money not taking over for another season but really hope Willock finds a different club next, kid's too good for the Championship.

Newcastle will invest in January to keep themselves up. Won't be hard either. A couple of good players in there and they'll get enough points.

They're yet to win a game, difficult to envision them going on a scoring and winning run. The bottom five teams are all easily shit enough to go down but Newcastle and Howe really scream Championship to me, even if they get a couple of decent players it's no guarantee remember QPR couple years back.

They are in a bad position but the rest are not far away from them, that's the key.

They have unlimited amount of money and Saudis are proud people so you can be sure they will turn heads in January.

A few big players changes everything for a team like that. Sign a couple of goal scorers and someone to marshall the defence and they'll win enough to stay up.

Never got how people got taken in by the hype around Everton's spending, Ancelotti basically got them to spend a load of money on to make them look ok for about 6 months and then did a runner before it all went to shit.

6 months is pushing it. Even James Rodriguez looked good for about 5 minutes.

Benitez going there was always foolish. It was doomed to fail.

Liverpool are just so open defensively. The moment you can get at them their defence parts like the red sea.

I hope the Everton fans that left are ashamed of themselves. I could never, what kind of supoort is that? Shit or not.

Chelsea's midfield has been absolutely garbage tonight. Saul and Loftus-Cheek not upto it.

I can't wait until Chelsea's wheels fall off. They have far too many dodgy fuckers that are currently playing well to sustain their form in the long-term. I think a team will work out a way to expose their (horrible, boring, defensive, unadventurous, but effective) system and they'll crash in a big way.
