His touch and close control and burst should have seen him turn into a pretty good player in the ESR mould but the rest of his game just never developed.
Did we really get over £100mil for Ox, Iwobi and Willock? The English market is something else.

The thing that's interesting is there has been a perception that United have been so awful and the media seem to have plugged into that idea that those level is really unacceptable. But we are only 3 points above and with a worse goal difference and Ole got them into the champions League. I really feel United and us are in similar places and they have finally acknowledged that it wasn't good enough.
They hired Ole in Dec 18, we got Arteta in Dec 19, we’re a year behind.
A year behind current Ole is nothing to shout about. We really need to get serious quickly.
Yeah I was just using that as an example that had both clubs in mid-table, so as to over emphasise the point that in most aspects MU are actually doing better than us other than on the actual league table. As such it suggests to me that if they start playing to their stats they can improve to retain top4, whereas our numbers suggest that this currently is about as good as it gets for us this season.
United have such a ridiculous array of attacking talent going to waste currently. You don't need stats to imagine them doing a shitload better than they are now if they can sort out the mess of tactics and morale that extends for miles in front of De Gea.

I'm hoping they don't pick up the likes of de Jong from Barca and we get him instead.
United close to appointing an interim manager till the end of the season.
Ernesto Valverde. Surprising they are smart enough to go for him

Thought I'd seen he had rejected any talk of any move. Also seen a lot of talk re Poch to MU and Zidane to PSG, but now PSG saying Poch is going nowhere until the end of the season at the earliest.
Looks like Utd are getting Rangnick. Terrible.
He isn't as good as a manager so not that worried but if they allows him free reign to transform the club before appointing a new manager under his watch then it's super bad news.
He's managing till the end of the season then offering "consultancy" for 2 seasons. I'd say de facto DOF basically.
Oh that's what I am afraid of. He transform clubs as a DOF, absolutely proven record.
Would be cool to see the founder of gegenpressing managing Ronaldo 😆
His first game will be against...
United are totally capable of having him in as interim manager, then appointing a successor who disagrees with him on every aspect while keeping him on as a "consultant" without a formal DoF title or a clearly defined role. They're flailing around at the moment, I expect a big bounce in form but little progress on their fundamental chaos.
they seem fixated on getting Pochettino as their manager next year.
He's already basically a freelance consultant isn't he and is basically free to advise anyone he likes? Feels like he's just cashing in on his reputation.
I honestly think Spurs are deliberately trying to fall out of the Conference League.
Not sure how we’re meant to compete against all these super coaches with our rookie.
@[deleted], can you please shed some light on this new interim Man Utd manager?
As Arsenal fans, should we be worried?
