I think Pep himself excused our team for that performance. The one thing left to mention was the vicious right hook one of his lads got away with.

Olise, Gallagher, Zaha and Eze is a very exciting mix for palace. The right now are giddy, as it has been years seeing the team looking like this.

If Gallagher wasn’t a Chelsea player, he would be an excellent buy, but the cost will be prohibitive now.

West Ham are going to be hard to catch if they keep playing like this.

West Ham is possibly the best drilled team in PL. So impressive with their group of players, very disciplined.

No wonder they can beat City last week.

You say that but we're three points behind them and haven't been world-beating this season.

As a side note, the relatively competitive nature of the league these days is really quite refreshing even if it's to the detriment of our own ambitions.

Only KT remains from the back5 from that game.
The disappointment is more about the score than the result whereas most comments after BHA and Palace were disappointed with the draws as well as the performances.

Disagree, we were outplayed all over the pitch vs Brighton and luckily got a draw vs a Palace team that played some horrible football. Neither result nor performance for either game were even remotely acceptable.

City and Liverpool will win far more games outside of those results though, and that's the key for us. How those results are framed depends on what we do in other games, that we've beaten Villa and Leicester is already making the Palace point look better despite it feeling disastrous on the night.

Win more consistently and slips up become more acceptable.
