A draw is good enough for us, though disappointing. If we win tomorrow, they'll have to score first in the NLD, and if for once none of our players does something moronic to gift them a goal, that puts us in a great spot to get at least a draw at their dump. They're shit when they actually have to play.

It really is, because everyone knows what they're gonna do against teams that will dominate the play, yet Pep in particular keeps falling for it.

Liverpool look tired. I guess there is only so much they are going to produce heroics every 3 days. Maybe that Villarreal comeback took a bit more out of then than we liked, would have been great if that was a run of the mill win.

Anyway, mathematical today still good for us. Although what it does is boost Spurs confidence but they will have to come out at us and it’s all good being competitive v City and Liverpool but there is a reason why they are 5th.

Win tomorrow, draw v Spurs and win 1 of Newcastle/Everton and we are good.

Look at the fixtures. We are playing two objectively decent teams who happen to be playing against relegation and giving their all, while Tottenham have only games they should cruise and us at their place.

And Arteta should be capable of getting the team organised and fired up enough to get the points required to stay 4th from a position of advantage. The teams we play are fighting relegation for a reason; cos they're shit. If he's good enough to persist with then this should be the moment he proves it. Enough of the weak-ass excuses.

Burnley also playing against relegation and play low block is what Spurs hate. Plus Spurs play them Sunday morning 60 hours after they have played us on the Thur - Burnley have the entire week off.

On last day Norwich have nothing to lose and feel they may owe one for their fans after a horrible season. Stranger things have happened.

Anyway it’s in our hands and I’m sure all of us would have taken this after Southampton game.

Absolutely. We are away only to Newcastle and they will have nothing to play for. We should win the games at home that we have to win. There shouldn't be any excuses. A win today and then at Tottenham will be really sweet though.

This whole Arteta is great, but we are unlikely to make top four because we are playing relegation candidates and our biggest rivals for the CL schtick gets old. This is THE moment. Get it done. (But hey if you don't, no worries, it's all good, we got your back anyhow)

The message we sent by giving him a new contract before he completed the job is stinky. Yet we talk about a culture change.
