Burnley have imploded here. They can't handle being pressed either. If we turn up at all we should win.

No reason other than Arteta's coaching.
Burnley will do us next week - Brentford style. We don't create enough chances and are vulnerable to balls into the box - a recipe for disaster against a team like Burnley.
They are good in the air but if you can cut off the supply of crosses they've fuck all else. We press better than Everton, although they attack with more verve. I think we'll only lose this if we bottle it against their dirty tactics.
Do we press better than Everton though? I had only one eye on their game yesterday, but our press is still quite easy to break. We look busy and expend energy but we don’t effectively cut out the passing lanes or converge on a target we’ve forced into isolation. We also do not or can not sustain the press intensity for more than 20 minutes or thereabouts, if what we’ve seen against Norwich and Brentford is to be the norm.
Our high press isn't great but it does the job against these sorts of sides. Bigger issue is what happens when it's bypassed. It feels like these teams have all the time in the world to slowly build up to the final third without really being engaged. Gives them confidence, kills our rythem.
Burnley will be missing Xhaka this weekend though and he was their key man in both games last year.
I didn't think they pressed with as much intensity as us but they still won the ball a lot in Burnleys half.

Burnley should go down soon hopefully but Atkinson apparently this also happened
Atkinson said to Townsend last night that he booked him because it was his 4th foul of the game. Everton made 3 fouls as a team.
How the hell does awarding someone a yellow card impact the flow of the game anyway? YOURE ALREADY BLOWING FOR A FREE KICK YOU MORONS. On top of that it just encourages the guy to keep on fowling. And I’m pretty much every game we’ve played this season the referees have blown their whistle every time the opposition falls to the floor. Trust the PGMOL to take a good concept and fuck it up.
Man City unable to score against Southampton. Cue Guardiola crying foul about how he doesn't have enough money to go buy a striker.
Southampton are a weird team. They could play like this and lose 9-0 the next week.
Sterling braindead for the goal. If he has left it it would have been allowed
Leon Bailey just tore Everton apart. Looking like a decent signing for them

Leeds are quite similar. You just never know what you're going to get from them.
Everton too
United can't lose an away game soon enough. Need this commentary on their away record to end. How the hell have they even gone this long without losing.
Sickener
Double sickener. Horrible game.
Moyes is such a dope.
